Rob Northcutt
Hi I'm Rob Northcutt. I am the lead singer/songwriter,
and rhythm guitar player for the NORTHCUTT band. I have been
singing and performing since I was very young. Country music
has always had a special place in my heart, and I am honored to have
the opportunity to perform the music I love. In 1993 my
childhood dream came true. I performed on the Grand Ole Opry
stage in Nashville. It was an awesome experience that I will
never forget. I have opened for many major country music stars
including, Confederate Railroad, Richotet, Brian White, Tracey Byrd,
and Cheli Wright. I also held The Kansas Colgate Country
Showdown State Champion Title in 2003. The most enjoyment that
I have had musically is sharing the stage with the awesome group of
guys that make up the NORTHCUTT band. I am looking forward to
the opportunities that lie ahead and the musical memories and
friendships we will make for many years to come......God Bless!

MIKE ALLEY
Mike
has played guitar since he
was 10 years old. During the 1980s he performed in several
regional rock bands that extensively toured the Midwest.
Although Mike's guitar roots are firmly planted in "classic rock,"
his real passion is the study of "finger style guitar" made famous
by Merle Travis and Chet Atkins. He is a devout connoisseur of
western swing and honky tonk music, particularly the works of Bob
Wills and Hank Thompson. Mike is an attorney in Salina,
Kansas.

Sean Herrington
Sean
has been playing bass since he was 10 years old, starting out
with the upright string bass. His early influences were rooted
in rock and heavy metal, but developed a flavor for country bass
when he played in the local band, Backroads, in the early 1990’s.
He took a hiatus from playing the bass to go to medical school, and
is currently a local family physician. He joined Northcutt in
2003, and has enjoyed playing the “bottom end” bass, except for a
brief break in action to go serve in the Army National Guard in Iraq
in late 2005. While there he got to play bass for a small,
rag-tag group of musicians from the Tennessee National Guard.
Now that he is back home, he is having more fun than ever playing in
Northcutt. He is married with four children.
